Shenyang Pengyue Hotel HUALUXE Hotels & Resorts, located in Sujiatun District, Shenyang, is operated under IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury brand created specifically for Chinese guests, combining Chinese hospitality with international luxury standards.

The 58,200 m² development comprises 24 storeys and one basement, including 218 guestrooms, a 41-suite maternal and infant confinement centre, restaurants, banquet facilities, and back-of-house areas. M&E installation was undertaken by CSCEC using BIM (Building Information Modelling) and
prefabricated seismic bracing systems.

To meet five-star comfort standards and the stringent hygiene requirements of the confinement centre, the domestic hot water system delivers 60°C water within 10 seconds. While the confinement centre (Levels 5–8) and lower guestroom floors share the same cold-water riser, dedicated heat exchangers provide independent temperature control and water quality.

Approximately 58,000 metres of DN15–DN108 piping from Aalberts integrated piping systems were installed. VSH XPress Stainless Steel was specified for the water supply risers for its strength, pressure resistance, and Leak Before Pressed (LBP) safety feature, while VSH SudoPress Copper was used for branch pipework serving guestrooms and confinement suites. The press-fit system eliminated hot works, improving installation speed, safety, and long-term reliability.
